HISTORIAN OLATUNJI OYEJIDE
My name is Olatunji Oyejide, and I was born on the 30th of November, 1976. I am a proud Nigerian whose life journey has been shaped by education, service, family values, and a deep commitment to cultural heritage.
I began my formal education at Saint Gabriel Primary School, where I laid a strong foundation for learning and discipline. I proceeded to Okeigbo Grammar School for my secondary education, where my interest in history, leadership, and societal development continued to grow. Driven by a passion for understanding people, nations, and global affairs, I gained admission into Obafemi Awolowo University, where I studied History and International Relations. My university education broadened my worldview and strengthened my analytical and leadership skills.
Professionally, I have gained diverse experience across legal, financial, educational, and real estate sectors. I worked with Tayo Oyetibo & Co., where I was exposed to legal practice and corporate professionalism. I also served at Mutual Benefits Life Assurance, contributing to financial services and client relations. My commitment to national development led me to serve as an N-Power Teacher, where I impacted young minds through education. I further expanded my professional journey with Portal Realties Ltd, gaining valuable experience in the real estate industry.
Beyond my career, I am a devoted family man. I am happily married to Mrs. Rachael Aina Olatunji, and our union is blessed with four wonderful children, who remain my greatest source of motivation and purpose.
Inspired by my heritage and a strong desire to preserve and promote Yoruba culture globally, I founded Omo Oduduwa Global Heritage Ltd. Through this platform, I am committed to cultural unity, historical awareness, and the promotion of indigenous values for present and future generations.
My life story is one of growth, service, resilience, and vision—guided by faith, family, education, and a passion for cultural identity.
